New collaboration between EFC and Malus

We are pleased to announce a new collaboration between EFC and Malus.

Effective immediately, Malus will be responsible for identifying and sourcing new apple and pear varieties on behalf of EFC. As owner of Malus, Markus Bradlwarter will serve as Global Variety Scout, working closely with our team to identify, evaluate, acquire, and secure access to promising new varieties from around the world.

This collaboration strengthens EFC’s commitment to innovation and long-term value creation for all parties within the fruit chain. By expanding our access to high-potential varieties, we aim to deliver sustainable opportunities for our growers, licensing partners, retailers, and consumers.
